NEED Help!!?

My car emblem in the back of my car was stolen. I went to the junk yard and bought a used one. Now i cleaned off the old glue off the emblem and now i want to stick it on my car. Can u guys help me and tell me what kind of glue, adhesive or what ever i neeed to put the emblem back on my car.Please also tell me anything else i need to know. Please if u dont know the answer just say i dont know i dont wanna put something on my car or do something wrong and cause damage.Sorry i dont wanna sound rude.... Thanxxx a lot
