Isnt political correctness and the FCC against the 1st admendment?

Ok I have been wondering this for quite some time and I need some answers. The 1st amendment of the Constitution CLEARLY states the right of free speech and expression, yet political correctness and the FCC goes completely against that. Censoring is against the 1st amendment. I understand that they do it so people don't get offended but if you are offended by something on television or you don't want your kids seeing it, why not simply change the channel or turn it off? I think that the FCC should be disbanded and that nothing should be censored. Yes I dislike some stuff I see on T.V. (I friggin hate MTV) but that does not mean I am going too try and ban it when it is protected by the Constitution.
