Is this normal at all? <3?

Well I went to a differant school a few years ago, and there was this guy I've always liked and on the last day of school he sorta asked me out... And then we almost kissed but... there were so many people around us it just didn't fell like a good first kiss! Now I really miss him and I don't have any of his numbers! I want to see him but I dont know if he wants to see me because he's popular and I'm wasn't! So idk if we were really gong out or not! But is that normal to miss him even f we didn't go out????? Please help me! <3
