If you were to write a vampire story, or are writing one, how do you prefer your vampires?

Dracula ones, he already is a conglomeration of legends. You forgot that he doesn't cast a reflection, become mist, can just feed on his victims and not necessarily kill them, control wolves and the "meaner" things of the night, cause sickness and control the winds and cause storms.
