I am having a Civil War reenactment, should I invite black people?

What a dumd idea. Why have them like they were during the fighting. Black were on both sides, they were the porters to the officers. Gen. Jackson (Stonewall) HIRED a black man as his personal cook. Do some reasearch first. Blacks fought and died on FOR both sides.
