What do you think about my story idea? Also, I have some questions for plotline that I want answered?

very interesting, i would suggest that aim for a unifying approach, say for example if you really want it to be deep, you have to paint a dark lethargic plot. it should be bloody explicitly and you should avoid elaborate expressions of emotions of the character. A "thinker" character may be needed to help the epiphany of the main guy. The main character does not need to figure it all out, you may leave the character all confused and messed up, but the important things is that you should be able to let us follow his train of thought, and that make us believe that he knows that he does not make complete sense. In this way you may be aiming for a non cliche non heroic main character.
