Why would he do tht to me ?

hi im 17 yrs of age and i recently started talking to this boy who i met in dance when he leaft dance we harldy talked and i though i would say hello to him over MSN then we got talking and it was god this carried on for a week then we really started getting on with each other i said to him we should meet up he said yeh ok so we arranged a place to meet up but 1 day before or meeting i got ill and couldnt he said he understand and tht if i was ill i was ill and then we carried on talking every night he even sent me a picture of his abs i told he looked hot and tht he hasnt changed one bit and he said he wanted to get with me i was very excited and spent everyday thinking abt him our convos would end with LY and a munch of kisses i told him stuff i have never told any lad then of a sudden today i get a text can you come on MSN we need to talk so i wen on msn and he said he was going to try and get his ex back and give it another go and tht he hoped tht i understood i said yes but didnt mean it like hell do i understand hes then says well i have to go im so glad you understand bye then he puts alot of kisses i say yeh ok bye no kisses why do tht to me should i block him from my life now or just for acouple of months or carry on talking to him.
