Does Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny really recieve a teacher's pension?

I'm not sure about it, I tried doing internet search, because I heard he hasn't taught for over 30 years yet receives or is entitled to a teachers pension? Can that be true? Is this the kind of leadership we need right now? Please someone clarify the facts for me. Thanks.
